Flirting is the initial stage in an attraction between a man and a woman. A man who is flirting with a woman is only showing his interest in her and this could turn either way later. Whatever the ultimate turn out, the signs of flirting are eye contact, smiles hovering at the side of the lips, moving closer to get a better view or maybe to move in on you and finally if there is a chance to talk a constant way of touching you to show that you interest him. This touching may not be in a sexual way but in a way which is more than friendly. Flirtations are not necessarily physical innuendos but more a way of saying "hey I find you attractive". This leaves the two with a high and gives their egos a boost which is a good thing especially if for some reason you have been down and out. There is no need to look upon every kind of emotional display with suspicion. Take it with a pinch of salt and move on with a thoughtful smile lingering in your mind.
